PMU terms of service

Consultations

If you are unsure about PMU and would like to meet in person to discuss our services further, we offer free consultation appointments. Consultations are not required unless you have received permanent makeup elsewhere and are inquiring about a cover-up or wanting to switch artists. If you and your artist decide to schedule the PMU appointment during the consultation, a deposit would be required.

Deposits

Everyone is required to pay a deposit when scheduling for a PMU service for the first time as well as a card stored on file in case of no shows. Most deposits are taken while scheduling through the booking app, or in person at your consult, if a consult was scheduled. The deposit amount goes towards the total cost of your appointment. If you cancel your PMU appointment, the deposit amount is not refunded but will still apply if you reschedule. There is not a time requirement for rescheduling your appointment, we will honor your deposit regardless of time between when the deposit was paid. The deposit amount cannot go towards any other service.

Cancellations

Although we equally care for our waxing clientele, we take our permanent makeup appointments serious at The Brow Keeper. We know that a large portion of our PMU clients are coming from all over or rearranging their work schedules far in advance to make their appointments. Because of this, we have a few extra guidelines when it comes to scheduling a PMU appointment with us. Our cancellation list extends out for months, so if you are unable to make your appointment, we have a long list of clients who would be happy to fill your spot! Permanent makeup appointments are a lengthy service in time, we ask you give at least a 72-hour notice when cancelling, so we can make sure that time slot gets filled in as much as possible!

For cancellation made in less than 72 hours, we will assist you in cancelling or rescheduling your appointment. If you want to reschedule, another deposit will be required. If you cancel and reach out to reschedule at a later date, we will require another deposit from you at that time. Every time a cancellation is made past 72 hours; a new deposit will be required to reschedule.

No Call No Show

If you no call no show to your PMU appointment, you will be billed a fee of $75 to the card on file and will be required to pay another deposit before rescheduling. We maintain a full schedule consistently. In order to be prompt and timely for each client, we often times prepare for the next client before they have arrived. If a client does not communicate their ability to arrive to their appointment a large amount of time as well as supplies could be lost. To prevent situations like this from happening, we have set this guideline in place.
